Rubeus came to life with a clear objective: to be a luxury experience which testifies to the excellence of Made in Italy craftsmanship and artistic prowess.

Rubeus’s name pays homage to the intriguing and vibrant ruby jewel (rubeus in Latin). Its home is Milan, equally intriguing and vibrant. In the choice of Milan as its base, Rubeus acknowledges the unparalleled Italian artistic tradition. Rubeus then brings that tradition to modern life in its creations.

The Rubeus showroom is found in the historic Milan street San Pietro All’Orto, in the heart of central Milan. Strategically immersed in the renowned Montenapoleone shopping area, Rubeus is within a few minutes walk from Milan’s Cathedral and the La Scala Opera House.

Thus located, Rubeus takes equal inspiration from the neighboring resplendent monuments and the beat of modern cosmopolitan life.

The Milan showroom leads the way for Rubeus production in Milan, Florence and Venice. Purses and shoes are made from valuable luxury materials such as crocodile, lizard and ostrich. The clothing textiles used — brocade, velvet, silk — were produced in Venice in the 1500s. The fabrics are without comparison — hand embroidered or loom masterpieces. In this fierce adherence to a true Made in Italy approach, each Rubeus overcoat is indeed its own artistic triumph!

Designer Nataliya Bondarenko envisioned a need for a luxury experience which transcended the limits of a mere brand. An avid art collector, her criteria is simple: a Made in Italy, personalized experience created by the best possible materials and the best Italian artisans.
